Next was the task of routing the wiring harnesses. We pick up purple harness conduit at a swapmeet and this was used to dress up the wiring. Stainless steel brackets with rubber cushioning were used to secure everything in place.

Well this was all looking good. The shock absorbers are also painted purple on top and the shock mounting brackets are painted with the Zolatone. FINALLY it was time to drop the engine into the car and see how it looked contrasting in front of the new engine compartment!

My husband wanted to get a sense of the contrast with the engine and radiator in so since he already had the radiator painted to match he temporarily rigged it in place using a vacuum hose to secure it just to make sure it didn't fall over. I thought it was really looking good. I couldn't wait to see it finished!
